Overview

In the heart of Florence, the symbolic place of culture and art of the Renaissance, the Horne Museum proposes itself as a space to relive the past and discover the customs and art of the city between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, as intended by the architect and English art historian Herbert Percy Horne. A refined mine of masterpieces of painting and sculpture (from Giotto to Simone Martini, Masaccio, Filippino Lippi, Domenico Beccafumi and Giambologna), but also and above all a House, furnished with fine artworks from the thirteenth to the seventeenth centuries.
